Vacation Bible School 2008 was a great success with almost 100 children that attended.
Our "Trunk or Treat" celebration was a combined effort between Living Waters and Centerton UMC. We provided candy and games at Centerton UMC for our congregations and the community on Halloween eve. This was our first Holloween celebration together and hopefully will become a yearly event for the community.
On Thanksgiving day Living Waters and Centerton UMC celebrated together by serving a free Thanksgiving meal to the community. Families and individuals that needed a meal or simply wanted to have a fellowship on Thanksgiving day joined our churches in Thanking God for what we all have been given. This meal was one of the highlights of the year with plenty of food, fellowship and a wonderful family atmosphere. After our meal together we made box lunches for several shelters in our area and provided food for some of our neighbors who could not get out on Thanksgiving Day.
